Wir waren heute in Hamburg, ist ja nur 80 km von uns entfernt. Um 12.30 Uhr haben wir eine Hafenrundfahrt gemacht, die echt Klasse war. Die Containerschiffe, die im Hamburger Hafen liegen (okay, zurzeit sind es wegen der Wirtschaftskrise nur wenige), sind echt monstermäßig groß! Hinterher haben wir mit unseren Kindern noch einen Stadtbummel gemacht.
Mein heutiges Bild zeigt euch die "Cap San Diego", jetzt ein Museumsschiff im Hamburger Hafen, früher ein riesiger Stückgutfrachter. Wir sind direkt unterm Heck (das ist hinten, für alle Landratten ;-) ) durchgefahren.
Today we visited Hamburg. This seaport is only 80 km (50 miles) away from our home town. We made a fantastic sightseeing tour through the harbour. The container ships there are giantic, much more bigger than the container ships we see in our harbour.
After the sightseeing tour we strolled through the shops in the city.

Ach da wart ihr...! Wow! Wir haben noch keinen einzigen Ausflug gemacht diesen Sommer *hoil* Und diese Woche hab ich ehrlich gesagt auch nicht wirklich Lust zu...

Cool picture from the ship. I absolutely love Hamburg! Been there several times on vacation, and I think it is so beautiful. The walk from Hauptbahnhof and down to Jungfernsteig is very nice with fantastic shopping and lovely cafés. And Planten-und-Blomen and the harbour are also wonderful.
